BINDING | The choirbook is bound between two paperboard and parchment covers (both with lacunae, in particular on the back cover and spine). Strips of paper used as reinforcements were partly removed when the manuscript was disassembled during restoration in 2015. Original endpapers glued to the front and back covers. |

NOTES | Two labels, attached to the front cover (exterior) and the endpaper glued to the front cover, are numbered ‘8’ and ‘3’ respectively. Both presumably stem from earlier numberings of the choirbooks. The watermarks show that the flyleaves (and probably the binding) were realized in or after 1736. An earlier version of the title-page, subsequently erased, reads: ‘Magnificat / A[ntonio] L[otti]’. |
